Opportunity:
Parsons is in need of an Administrative Assistant for a five month assignment for the Austell, GA location.
POSITION Overview:
In accordance with established procedures, performs a variety of routine and non-routine administrative, clerical, data collection, and report writing tasks specific to the group assigned. Receives direction from immediate supervisor in completing non-routine assignments.
Responsibilities:
Gathers statistics and general data; reviews and combines this information into established reports for use within and outside the unit. May develop new reports or revise existing reports, as directed. Such reports may be in spreadsheet or graphical formats, or narrative-style word processing. May be responsible for verifying data gathered, such as matching supplier invoices against file copies. Distributes reports as directed by immediate supervisor.
Maintains employee directory and related data pertaining to employees assigned to the unit, including company resumes.
Originates correspondence and reports not requiring the personal attention of immediate supervisor. Answers telephone, taking and relaying messages. Receives, sorts, and distributes mail.
May establish and maintain records of equipment, including a log of equipment service dates. May initiate requests for service.
Initiates requests for PCs and telephones, and updates Corporate Directory as appropriate.
Maintains project document controls. Updates and maintains electronic databases using Primavera Contract Manager and Excel. Distribute copies of project documents. Updates and maintains various project network files and paper files.
Process project accounts payables and provide vendor management. Order safety supplies and office supplies as needed.
Process client invoices and subcontractor invoices. Enter check requests into Parsons electronic systems.
Serve as office facility coordinator and safety warden.
Update project construction administration guide.
Coordinate and document contractor GA-EPD-Davis-Bacon Certified Payrolls and other contract reporting requirements.
Provide administrative and clerical support for Construction Manager, field staff & project engineers.
Update various project reports and tracking logs.
Prepare materials for weekly progress meeting. Attend weekly progress meetings, take notes for meeting minutes and enter into Contract Manager database. Distribute CM approved minutes to meeting attendees via email.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
- Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required. Additionally, a demonstrated proficiency in keyboard skills and the utilization of MS Windows and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database software, is required.
- Prior experience utilizing Primavera Contract Manager is preferred. Prior experience in a construction field office setting is preferred. A working knowledge of Parsons Company policies and procedures is preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
