Duties &
Responsibilities:
An Operating Room RN, also known as a Perioperative Nurse, specializes in providing nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room (OR). They work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure safe and effective patient care before, during, and after surgical interventions. Operating Room RNs work in hospitals, surgical centers, ambulatory surgery units, and specialty surgical facilities, managing a wide range of surgical specialties and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- RN license (Georgia or Compact)
- BLS
- direct patient care experience
- 4 10 hour shifts during M-F
- On call
