We have an HR Generalist position at the Hub GroupTrucking Operation in Austell,Georgia.This is a great opportunity for an Experienced HR Generalist to be the subjectmatter expert in this fast-paced, roll up the sleeves environment. If you arean independent worker who can deliver results and can run your own HR Show,this is the job for you! You will manage the day-to-day employee relations fora great workforce. You'll work with the Terminal Managers and our DriverManagers as issues arise and will be the HR Partner to drive and deliverCorporate HR Initiatives. You will joina dynamic group of HR professionals in a collaborative team environment. Thisposition reports to the Corporate VP of HR in Chicago and has direct lineresponsibility for leading all HR activities at the HGT Austell Operation.

Summary: The Human Resources Generalist willprovide support to assigned Hub Group employees. This position reports to the CorporateVice President of Human Resources and is based at Hub Group Trucking's Austell,Georgia terminal.
Essential Job Functions:
Partner with and coachTerminal Managers and Driver Managers on employee relations activities with companydriver and independent driver contractors.
Research and understandFederal, State and local employment laws and ensure compliance within theassigned geographic area.
Manageall employee relations issues and resolve issues by conducting thorough andobjective investigations. Document complaints, review and participate inperformance write-ups, give guidance in accordance with the Employee Handbook.Review with legal counsel if necessary.
Administer varioushuman resources policies, procedures and plans for all assigned employees.
Partner with managementwhen conducting effective performance reviews for both office employees andcompany drivers.
Utilize HRIS functionality to provide system support to allassigned employees.
Assist with recruitingefforts for both office employees and company drivers.
Knowledge of AffirmativeAction and FLSA compliance and provide support in corporate initiatives.
Provide HR leadershipin reduction in force activities as needed.
Duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned orchanged from time to time.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management and/or 3-5years' experience preferred.
Employee and labor relations experience preferred.
Ability to work in a highly confidential environment andexhibit professionalism at all times.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,PowerPoint), 2-3 years of Human Resources Systems use i.e. Ceridian, OracleHCM, etc.
PHRor SPHR Certification preferred.
Strong customer service, leadership and decision makingskills.
Knowledge of basic HR governance (e.g. employee relations,EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, HIPAA, employment law/regulations, etc.).
Ability to make decisions and operate independently, withoutSupervision, with respect to complex issues and business requirements with ahigh degree of exposure.
Must multi-task multiple projects with strong resultsorientation and work within tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills including the ability towrite and communicate concisely and clearly with persuasion and succinct styles.
Strong listening and interpersonal skills.
Travel to other locations may be required.
Ability to managemultiple priorities as well as flexibility to adapt to change with new systemsand methods while working in a team environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
