Loss Prevention Agent

Description
The Six Flags Over Georgia Field Agent executes day to day Loss Prevention efforts and undercover surveillance functions. The Field Agent position is great for individuals pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice or any other related field. The Loss Prevention Department provides an excellent opportunity to receive first-hand experience in controlling losses, intelligence gathering, and field investigations. Agents work in several divisions, which include surveillance units, undercover operations, research, auditing, and interviewing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Providing undercover surveillance and assisting with shoplifting apprehensions.
Documenting, generating, and tracking computerized theft reports.
Issuing and composing Civil Demands in addition to Criminal Trespass Notices.
Executing apprehension of ticket scalpers and illegal entry cases.
Processing apprehended theft offender release notices.
Assisting and representing the park with prosecuting theft cases in accordance with department policies.
Providing courtroom preparations.
Monitoring and evaluating employee observations.
Support and conduct all additional Loss Prevention duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Must Meet These Qualifications:
Be at least 18 years of age or older.
Be available to work flexible hours throughout the year.
Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to speak fluent Spanish is a plus!
Be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Must be skilled at situational analysis and decision making.
Must have excellent conflict resolution skills.
Must be able to work independently.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
