Lead Perioperative Nursing Asst Surgical Services/OR

Responsibilities
The Lead Perioperative Nursing Assistant (PNA) is responsible for the performance of duties which relate to and
support Surgical Services. The Lead Perioperative Nursing Assistant functions under the direction of the
Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager and serves as a team leader for the Perioperative Nursing Assistants and
Anesthesia techs. The Lead PNA is responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling and supervising department
activities carried out on each shift. Lead PNA will continuously make rounds to ensure all employees are completing all
daily work assignments and are complying with all Wellstar and department policies and practices. Will assist
Manager/ANM with staff evaluations, interviewing, training, developing and disciplinary actions. Will oversee the
ordering and maintenance of supplies and linen. The Lead Perioperative Nursing Assistant will help maintain
environmental Joint Commission readiness and is able to perform core job functions as identified in the skills
checklist.
Qualifications
Required Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Required Minimum Experience: Previous operating room experience preferred. Minimum experience of 1 year.
Required Minimum Skills:
Must be current in CPR. Must be able to effectively communicate and understand verbal and written English
language. Must be able to communicate effectively in a courteous, professional and tactful manner. Basic
keyboarding skills required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
