Mechanic


Integrity Staffing Services is partnered with a successful and rapidly expanding electronic scrap recycling business who dismantles and shreds electronics and other metals in the warehouse. Applicant would be responsible for repairing and installing production/manufacturing equipment, inspect equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specifications. Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and makes repairs or adjustments as needed. Company provides tools

RESPONSIBLITIES:?




  • Performs routine facility maintenance as assigned.


  • Observes and troubleshoots mechanical devices in operation by adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments, as well as repairing/replacing defective parts.


  • Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.


  • Responsible for aiding in startup process to ensure equipment is operating correctly.


  • All other duties as assigned?

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:?




  • 18 years or older


  • Pass the drug test; Pass the background check


  • Pass technical assessment addressing job-critical maintenance knowledge areas


  • Experience with warehouse Equipment (e.g., forklifts, skid steers, sky jacks)


  • Experience with mechanical systems (e.g., gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings)


  • Experience with product manuals (e.g., reading and applying knowledge to make repairs)


  • Experience with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns (pinpointing and fixing breakdowns)


  • Candidates should be able to lift up to 50+ pounds anything heavier should be a team lift.





Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
